the SQL language. This tutorial is in progress, hopefully
having this note here will embarass me into finishing it soon.

basic guide to contacting a database using PHP scripts.
- PEAR - How to setup and use
reuseable PHP components.
A great many of the software tools that we use in our work every day
have been built and contributed to the Internet community free of charge.
Tools like PHP, MySQL, Linux, everything GNU, etc. Without these tools
we would find it difficult to make a decent living as programmers.
These tutorials represent our small effort to give back a little to the
Internet community that has give so much to us. We always appreciate any
comments or corrections about these tutorials. If you find them useful,
we ask that you please continue the chain and help out somebody else further
down the line.
